This page explains your rights and how warranty claims are handled when you purchase from us.

Your Rights Under Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
if a product:
- Is not as described
- Is not fit for purpose
- Has a major failure
These rights apply regardless of any manufacturer warranty period.
Point of Contact
When you buy from Off Track HQ:
- We are your point of contact, not the manufacturer
- You do not need to chase brands, suppliers, or overseas companies
- We will handle communication with the manufacturer on your behalf
If we sell it, we back it.
How Warranty Claims Are Handled
Our process is simple and transparent:
- You contact Off Track HQ with the issue
- We assess the issue in line with Australian Consumer Law
- We liaise with the manufacturer or supplier
- We arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as required
We aim to resolve warranty matters as quickly as possible and will keep you informed throughout the process.
Minor Faults vs Major Faults
Minor Failures
For minor faults, we are entitled to choose:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
Major Failures
If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to choose:
- A replacement
- A refund or,
- A repair
A major failure includes (but is not limited to):
- The product is unsafe
- The issue cannot be fixed within a reasonable time
- The product is significantly different from its description
- The product does not do what it is intended to do

What Is Not Covered
Australian Consumer Law does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse or abuse
- Incorrect installation or setup
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by modifications
- Accidental or impact damage
Each claim is assessed fairly and individually in line with ACL.
Information We May Request
To help resolve warranty claims efficiently, we may ask for:
- Photos or videos of the issue
- A brief description of how the fault occurred
- Serial numbers (where applicable)
This helps speed up communication with manufacturers and suppliers.
